Taubman Talks
The Taubman Institute Talks Science
One of the cornerstones of the Taubman Institute is a collaborative environment, where the exchange of ideas and creative interaction across disciplines are vigorously promoted.
As part of this mission, each month we hold a brown-bag series called “Taubman Talks”, at which members of all the Taubman laboratories get together to share and discuss their latest research. Occasionally, esteemed colleagues from outside the university are invited to speak, as well.
The talks generally are held at 4 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in the Danto Auditorium of the University of Michigan Health System’s Cardiovascular Center.
The schedule of upcoming Taubman Talks includes:
2011
Oct. 5: Dr. Charles Burant laboratory
Nov. 2: Dr. Arul Chinnaiyan’s laboratory (5 p.m. start)
Dec. 7: Dr. J-P Jin, Wayne State University
2012
Feb. 1: Dr. Johann Gudjonsson and Dr. David Ginsburg
