Dr. Segal’s clinical and research interests involve understanding the pathogenesis of multiple sclerosis, aninflammatory disease of the nervous system. By understanding how immune factors and/or cells contribute to the disease, he expects to be able to predict responsiveness to specific therapies, discover disease biomarkers, and identify novel therapeutic targets for this disease.
